History

CompuData was founded in 1971 by W. Fred Rump, as a facilities management company for National ICEE and E.B. Evans Corp.. With four employees at the time, the company used a large NCR mainframe computer to do batch processing for a variety of clients. Throughout CompuData's history, the focus shifted from mainframe to mini-computer to current technology, but its commitment to providing quality products and services and 100% customer satisfaction has remained constant.

In 1993, Steven M. Ciarciello succeeded Fred as president of the company. Under Steve's leadership, CompuData honed its skill at adopting new technologies that meet the business requirements of its customers - without succumbing to fads. Moreover, Steve was instrumental in creating a customer care environment second to none.

In 2010, Angela Nadeau, daughter of the founder, succeeded Steve as president and CEO of CompuData.  Fred and Steve's strong business ethic of providing outstanding customer service still drives the company today. CompuData is a leader in the industry, offering total solutions to its clients.

Everyone at CompuData believes that comprehensive customer support and service are key to customer satisfaction. Our goal is to create lasting relationships with our customers, by providing the highest level of support and service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

According to Angela, "CompuData has survived and prospered because we have learned the importance of confronting our clients' immediate concerns, while keeping our eyes open to discover how CompuData and its clients can stay in the forefront of technological change."
